It's the goal of Twisted Mind Productions to make you feel as if you've actually stepped out of the mundane world and in to a small unexplored corner of the Firefly/Serenity 'Verse and can be people who perform thrilling heroics. Now to take some time out and answer some frequently asked questions.

1: Will I have to share a cabin with someone?

Yes, odds are good you'll have to share with someone unless you're bringing a group of 4 folks.

BUT...we'll try to be as accomodating as possible of your needs and make sure you get space with nice like minded folks. If you don't like your cabin mates - come talk to the folks in charge and we'll try to work something out so that everyone's shiny.

2: How do I come up with a character?

Well... think of your favorite characters from the show...and from just about any other book or movie you can come up with. No doubt among the many wonderful characters out there in fiction you'll find a good jumping off point for your character. We have a handy-dandy template that should offer some help

7: Is it too late to get the $150 rate?

No, $150 is the rate until April 5th- after that it's the at-the-door-rate.

8: You said there's a discount for Armed Forces Vets and members of the 76th?

Yes, there is. Please email us for the details.

9: Do you need staff?

This time around we're pretty well staffed. If you come and play and love it - well...who knows what the future will hold? We're hoping to grow the game and that this will be the first of many adventures in New Haven.

10: Are there still spaces available

Yes but they are limited - so contact us asap and get your $ in soon! The price goes up to $250 per membership after April 5th. If you've contacted us follow up. We really do need a nose count to assign cabins and buy food and such by. If your life is hectic (mine is) and you're not sure you'll be able to make it...you're more than welcome to come pay at the door - you just risk not having a cabin and you'll be paying the at the door cost.

11: I can only come for a day...is it worth it and do you give discounts for day trippers?

Yes, and yes please contact us for details.

12: I have kids...can they play?

Are there children in the 'Verse?  Yes...of course kids are more than welcome!  We love kids (they're especially good with a little garlic and rosemary)! They just have to abide by the same rules of behavior as the taller folk and there are certain places that they will not be allowed in or out of game. Red Annie's is a kid free zone. Noone under 18 without a responsible tall person and noone under 16 period. It costs just the same for youngins as it does for adults..unless you're carrying them in your arms. then they're free. If you bring your crumb grubber and he or she misbehaves then you're expected to attend to them immediately.

I have been known to sit other people's youngins in the corner.... been known to do it to tall folk too...and even put myself there when a time out is required.

Who We Are

Twisted Mind Productions is made up of Browncoats, experienced gamers, and LARPers from all walks of life. We're artists, artisans,  computer geeks, medics, scientists, clerical workers, accountants, engineers, cooks, costumers , theater folks and writers who love Firefly as much as you do and who think it'd be just shiny to play in the 'Verse for a while.
